Skauti wakiwa katika chumba cha habari cha magazeti ya The Guardian

Dar es salaam; Chama cha Skauti Tanzania kiliambatana na Skauti kutoka Poland, Kenya na Burundi ambao ni washirki wa mafunzo maalum ya Public Relation, mapema jana 1/12/2016  walifanya ziara na kujione kazi mbalimbali zinazofanywa na kampuni ya IPP Media iliyopo Mikocheni Jijini Dar es Salaam.


Akizungumza na wanachama wa Skauti Tanzania, Msemaji wa  Chumba cha Habari Magazeti ya The Guardian na Nipashe  Bw. Faustin Felisian amesema wamefarijika na ujio huo wa wanachama kutoka Skauti kwa kuja kujifunza na kuona jinsi gani habari zinavyoandaliwa mpaka gazeti linapotoka mitaani.
“Tumefarijika sana kwaujio wenu katika chumba chetu cha Habari kwani ni jambo jema kujifunza na natumai wapo amabo watavutiwa na vinavyofanyika na wengine watatamani kuwa wana habari hapo baadae” alisema Bw. Felisian

Mmoja wa wanachama wa Chama cha Skauti Tanzania Ndg. Murtadhwa Rashid amesema kuwa ziara hiyo katika chombo cha habari imekuwa ya mafanikio na faida kwao kwani wamepata fursa ya kujionea mambo mbalimblai yahusuyo uandishi wa habari.
“Tumefurahi kwa kupata elimu na tumepokelewa vizuri  IPP Media. Tuna mipango ya kuifikisha Skauti yetu mbali kwa malengo ya vijana wa Taifa letu na tunawakaribisha watu wote waje kwenye uskauti tujifunze kwa pamoja” Alisema Ndg. Murtadhwa Rashid .

PUBLIC RELATION CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHP

The Tanzania Scouts Association (TSA) in partnership with the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP) we conducting a Public Relations capacity building workshop for 20 key staff and volunteers, youth and adults with basic and professional skills in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The workshop is part of the ongoing partnership activities between the two National Scout Organizations (NSOs).


The week-long workshop dubbed “PR Lab” is a training that aims to improve participant’s ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with the general public while furthering the organizations goals. It involves developing knowledge and skills in areas such as brand building, marketing theory, event promotion, social media, strategic communication, graphic design, photography, video making Blog and web design.


By the end of this workshop the participants will be able to acquire knowledge of basic marketing skills in order to properly market various Scout events; develop skills to effectively and efficiently tell Scout stories through various forms of media and media tools; as well as learn about different aspects of brand development and management. The training is being facilitated by trainers from ZHP and TSA with the assistance of the Communications & Public Relations Officer from the World Scout Bureau Africa Support Centre.


The training comes at a time when the Tanzania Scouts Association we are preparing to host different national, zonal and regional activities. From 11 to 16 December, the Tanzania Scouts Association we will host the East Africa Zonal Scout Conference, Youth Forum and Inter Patrol Scout Competitions in Arusha. On 2017 will see the Tanzania Scouts Association host the annual Africa Scout Day celebrations from 8 - 12 March in Arusha. A series of other activities have been lined up for TSA’s celebration of 100 years of Scouting in Tanzania.


PR Lab provides an opportunity for TSA to relook at our own Scout brand, develop appropriate communication and marketing strategies in order to reach out to more young people and other stakeholders through various mediums of communication. It will also be instrumental in helping the NSO to organise the different upcoming events and well as other future Scout events.
The participants will after the training form a much needed communication team that will help plan and implement TSA’s communication activities.

Scouts Blood Donations

Zoezi la uchangiaji damu limezidi kuhamasika, leo hii Skauti 27 wa Sekondari ya Baden Powell Memorial na Viongozi wao akiwemo Masha Missungi walimtembelea Skauta Stewart Kiluswa (LT ) katika hospitali ya Muhimbili (Alipo lazwa kwa ajili ya matibabu ) na  kuchangia unit 25 za damu.
Damu hiyo ni kwa ajili ya Skauta Stewart Kiluswa (LT )  na wagonjwa wengine. Imehamasisha sana kwa ujasiri wao na jinsi walivyo pendeza kwa sare yao nadhifu ya Skauti.

Wagonjwa, walinzi na wauguzi wamevutiwa sana na kwa kweli wameendelea kukijengea heshima kubwa chama cha skauti Tanzania pamoja na Skauta Stewart Kiluswa (LT ).

Basi tuendelee na moyo wa aina hii popote tulipo.

TANZANIA YASHIRIKI KATIKA JAMBOREE YA 7 YA SKAUTI AFRIKA NCHINI IVORY COAST














Chama cha Skuti Tanzania kimepeleka wawakilishi wawili kushiriki katika jamboree ya 7 ya skauti Afrika (Rashid Mchatta "Naibu Kamishna Mkuu" - Mshiriki na Murtadhwa Rashid "Mwenyekiti wa Jukwaa la Vijana Afrika Mashariki - Muwezeshaji "MoP"), jamboree ya 7 ya skauti Afrika iliyofanyika nchini Ivory Coast ambayo imejumuisha jumla ya nchi 17 kutoka Afrika na nje ya Afrika amabzo ni ;-

NEW PARTNASHIP BETWEEN TANZANIA SCOUTS ASSOCIATION & UK HAMPSHIRE SCOUT

The Tanzania Scouts Association & UK Hampshire scouts have entered into a partnership in which Hampshire scouts will volunteer to renovate the Tanzania Scout National Training Centre known as Bahati Camp located in Morogoro region.

About 115 Scouts from Hampshire and Southern England will visit Tanzania in next year, in August 2017 and take part in a Mini Jamboree, a month after the Tanzania Centenary Jamboree.
14 UK Hampshire scout leaders are now in Tanzania visiting and identifying the areas for community works, also there about 30 scouts come from other counties to join this community work.
Hampshire & Tanzania scouts will also do community work at Lupiro, Iragua, Madabadaba and Mang'ula in Morogoro region.
